EVERYTHING IS NEW FOR 2017

AGE DIVISION CHANGES

U.S. Soccer Federation has set down mandatory division changes nationwide. Most soccer clubs made these changes last year, AYSO decided to wait until the fall of 2017 to make the changes mandatory. Now, instead of the divisions being determined by a players age between Aug 1st 2016 and July 31st 2017, it will just be by year of birth. See chart on the right for age breakdown.

This means over a third of our players will skip a year. They will still be playing with their peers and children their own age. The division guidelines have changes as well. Goal and field sizes are getting smaller. Everything you think you know about a division does not exist anymore. Don't worry, your child will be fine and is going to have a fun season playing soccer.

Please be cooperative and understanding there's no changing this. These changes were made after extensive study and research of soccer programs around the globe. This is a mandate from US Soccer and this is our program. Our AYSO Philosophies have remained the same. Let's go on this adventure together and work to develop our players to the best of their abilities and have fun doing it.

BLUE SOMBRERO REGISTRATION SYSTEM

Also, we have a brand new registration system. ALL players, new and old will have to re-enter all of their information into the new system. Returning players and volunteers need to enter their names exactly as they were in the old system so the history can be merged with the new system. You still MUST enter all required info again.

Returning players do NOT have to submit a birth certificate again, we will check the dates against our records.

Each family will create an account, add players and invite other users (parent/guardians) to the family account. If you are a volunteer you will use this same account to enter your information for each volunteer position. This may be tedious, but you only have to do it this year.
